NEWS:
.38 Special is the festival’s kickoff headliner for the first day of the event, Friday October 10, 2008.

THE IDEA IS SIMPLE:
A celebration of the wonderful array of local area seafood prepared by local chefs merged with local and nationally acclaimed wines, entertainment and vendors with a special focus on families. The Panama City Beach Seafood, Wine & Music Festival is designed to reflect a true taste of the coast, a true toast to the coast and some of the world's best entertainment - we promise it will be like no other festival ever presented on Panama City Beach.

SEAFOOD, CELEBRITY CHEF EXHIBITIONS & more:
Local and area celebrity chef's from some of the legendary Panama City Beach restaurants including Breakers, Saltwater Grill, Firefly, Hammerhead Fred's, Boatyard, and more to be announced will perform special exhibitions over the 3 day event - featuring some of the best seafood you ever eaten, and some of the best wine you've ever tasted! This is in addition to the wonderful array of food available from local and area restaurants. Other various food vendors will supply the staples you've come to love about outdoor festivals.

WINE from LOCAL & NATIONALLY ACCLAIMED VINEYARDS:
The festival offers three full-bodied days of wining, dining and socializing amid several local, domestic and international wines. We are proud to announce local winery & vineyard Sea Breeze Winery & local wine & spirit distributors Southern Wine & Spirits are our exclusive wine partners. The will host rare wine auctions, present celebrity winemakers, top vineyards, and Grand Wine tasting events and more. Beginners will have an opportunity to sample the wines, learning about the make-up and the regions they come from while wine experts will have an opportunity to sample some of the rarer wines they might not otherwise get a chance to try. You don't want to miss the "Stomping of the Grapes" performed each day of the event to get the daily wine activities started. There will be a special wine dinner that will help to raise funds for deserving local charities.

MUSIC & other Entertainment:
From the beginning of the festival on Friday to the very end on Sunday, the music and entertainment will never end. The sounds of local and area jazz, rock and country bands will fill the air and Friday, Saturday and Sunday night will be capped off with headliner entertainment T.B.A. There will truly be entertainment for all tastes at the Panama City Beach Seafood & Wine Festival.

FAMILY FUN DAYS:
Saturday and Sunday there will be a special focus on family activities and events from 11am-4pm both days - don't miss the "KIDS LUNCH WITH SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS" & a special KIDS CONCERTS, and a Bouncer Village will feature several giant bouncy experiences, there will be face painting, story time with local celebrities, special appearances by your favorite cartoon characters, plus other activities designed especially for the family and children.

ARTS, CRAFTS, ANTIQUES & MORE:
The Panama City Beach Seafood & Wine Festival will feature select arts & crafts vendors, retail vendors, antique dealers, and various community/charity vendors. Specialty jewelry, wood crafts, wine racks, pottery sales & demonstrations, glass art & demonstrations, stained glass, ceramics, quilts, folk art, and more.
