Experience Thunder Beach at its original home, The Tiki Bar!
The World Famous Tiki Bar at the Sandpiper Beacon Beach resort (17403 Front Beach Road) has a long-standing reputation for showing bikers a great time during the panama city bike rally each year.
Not many people know this, but when the Bike Rally was still in it's infancy, and just a casual meetup organized by bikers from Georgia, the Tiki Bar was the HQ. You can read more about how bike week got started here.
The Live bands and drinks specials in the Tiki Bar for the Thunder Beach Bike Rally are set to be just as fired up as ever.
Each rally, hundreds of bikers descend upon the beachside Tiki Bar - where cover is ALWAYS free, and EVERYBODY is welcome to join the party.
With 3 beachside stages, there's always a party in the Tiki Bar. Weather you're relaxing in the tropically landscaped seating area, laid back with your feet up in a hammock watching the waves roll in, or checking out the stalls of exclusive vendors right on the property - the Tiki Bar and Sandpiper Beacon is a hot-spot.
Another exclusive benefit the Tiki Bar offers it's guests during the motorcycle rally, is special front-row parking. The street-side parking spaces lining the entire length of the resort are blocked off just for bikers. This is convenient if you're a guest, but also makes for some awesome chrome-spotting.
The Tiki Bar invites you to join the party early (around 6pm), with the cheapest drink specials, and Big Engine, a "southern rock-n-roll machine" kicking things off in the Tiki Bar.
"We want to create a fun and exciting Bike Week experience in the Tiki Bar, no matter where guests are staying", said Patrick Hazard, General Manager of the Sandpiper Beacon. "We have 2 very simple goals each year; to provide a fun, and safe party atmosphere for all our guests, and to constantly improve year after year."
There are many venues offering live bands during the rally. Many have a cover charge, and not all offer the same caliber of entertainment offered by the Tiki Bar - Be sure to check them out during the Fall Bike Rally, you'll be glad you did!
