Spring travel to Florida is one of the busiest travel times of the year. Flights and hotels sell out fast, and they sell out early. If you’re planning on coming to a hot spot like Panama City Beach in the coming months, you may want to start making those plans final now as opposed to later.
From what we’ve learned over the years, it’s never too early to plan and book your vacation travel plans. In fact, booking early comes with a whole host of benefits.
If you’re booking air travel, generally speaking, the earlier you book, the cheaper it is. And flying to the beach has never been easier, thanks to their recently constructed Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City Beach. It’s generally said that the best time to purchase a domestic flight is exactly 54 days (7.5 weeks) before departure. And that one thing is for sure: the closer to your departure date you book, the more you will pay.
As with flights, most hotels and condos in Panama City Beach will allow you to make reservations up to a year in advance, offering “book early” promotions in the hope of enticing and incentivizing people to finalize their plans early. Prices will in fact soar the closer you get to travel time. This makes last-minute planning difficult and expensive. The best idea is to book your room at least 40 days in advance.
Now is the time to look for those early-bird offers and seize the moment, because if there’s one lesson to be learned, it’s that it’s never too early to book travel plans to the beach!
