Tourists come visit our beach for many reasons – our beach is one of the best in the world. And despite the Gulf Coast Jam Music Festival being a typical signature event during this time, people will still come because of our beaches and our restaurants.
Over 15 thousand people came last year during the long weekend, and if we can get even half that amount a lot of hotel and business owners will be very happy as the fall season is set to begin.
In fact, Labor Day weekend is crucial for the community. Tourism dollars feed directly into the locals’ pockets.
